Lulu:	That is good news. The faster we can search the fortress, the easier a time we'll have locating the adamantine rods.
Jarlaxle:	Yeah, just because someone has to do it, I'm going to point out Minsc's love of strange specificity -- and the wall of vrocks soaring toward us right now.
Minsc:	What? Vrocks are demons, not devils. Minsc's point was very clear!
Boo:	Squeak!
1	Defeat 25 Monsters		The entrance to the wrecked flying fortress looms ahead -- but these vrocks are intent on not letting you pass!
2	Defeat 25 Monsters		The vrocks are reeling against your stubborn defense -- but they're not ready to give up quite yet.
Gargauth:	Dwarf...
Bruenor:	Oi, not again. I'm tellin' ya this just once more, fiend. I ain't got time fer talkin' right now. We're in tha middle o' gettin' pounded. So stay quiet in tha Shield o' tha Hidden Lord like a good devil. Well, ye ain't good, but ye know what I mean.
Nayeli:	It's hard to make headway within all this rubble. But what's that gleaming on the ground ahead?
Chukka:	Shiny, it is. So shiny. So precious...
Jarlaxle:	... As I'm sure Chukka was so thoughtfully trying to say, it looks like metal. And looks even more like keys. They've been here a while by the look of it.
Celeste:	If they were left behind by those who fled the fortress, they might be useful. Come on!
3	Collect 25 Keys		These scattered keys need to be scooped up -- but a scurrying pack of abyssal crabs won't make it easy for you!
4	Defeat 25 Monsters		The abyssal crabs appear to be already rethinking this fight -- but the reappearance of the vrock pack makes it impossible for them to scatter!
5	Defeat the Inferno Elemental		An inferno elemental erupts before the fortress's entrance! Push past!
Nayeli:	Right, everyone move! Inside now! Bruenor, are you all right?
Bruenor:	I'll be right as rain once this Shield o' tha Forgotten Lord stops yammerin' at me. That blasted fiend Gargauth ain't said nary a word since we brought it ta Avernus, but now it won't shut up.
Gargauth:	Paladin... the dwarf ignores me to your peril, but you must hear me now -- before it's too late.
Nayeli:	It's in my head now with its telepathy. Speak your piece, Gargauth, but speak it quickly. We're a little pressed for time.
Gargauth:	I have information you need. Lore the deceiver Bel will not reveal. The adamantine rods have power you do not know. The power to claim what you seek. But Bel will hold that power if he can.
Nayeli:	What are you saying? The rods have something to do with Elturel?
Gargauth:	They have much to do with Elturel and the fate of its people. And I will tell you what I know... if my price is met.
Nayeli:	My patience for fiendish bargains is alarmingly low right now, Gargauth. So hold your thoughts, and hope I'm in a better mood later. Right now, we've got fighting to do!
Smiler:	Just look at this place. Any magic capable of lobbing all this stone skyward must have been most impressive.
Jarlaxle:	And apparently more impressive than whatever magic they used for landing. Pushing through these wrecked hallways is going to be like navigating a maze.
Reya:	They're not just wrecked from the fall. Look there. It looks as though the fortress has been thoroughly scavenged for its gear and components.
Jarlaxle:	So we need to hope that the scavengers just happened to leave nine adamantine rods behind. Lovely.
Delina:	Bel said the rods were only recently stolen, though. So they'll have been hidden here, not been part of the place.
Bruenor:	Oi! Don't mean ta interrupt, but I'm hearin' screechin' from behind us and footsteps on tha move from inside!
Jarlaxle:	The vrocks are following us in. And that's a squad of merregons dead ahead! Everybody move!
6	Defeat 25 Monsters		This wrecked fortress shows signs of having been thoroughly scavenged -- and the vrocks pursuing you have notified a merregon wrecking crew!
7	Defeat 25 Monsters		The vrocks scatter at last, but a pack of lemures is drawn to the sound of the fight!
8	Collect 25 Singed Bones		A mob of bone whelks tries to surround you! Even the odds in this fight by stripping away the scorched bones they wear for protection!
9	Defeat 25 Monsters		Even as you press the advantage against the bone whelks, the lemures are back for round two!
Jarlaxle:	Those lemures have fallen back finally. Quickly! If we push through that chamber ahead, the bone whelks will be bottlenecked trying to follow us.
Nayeli:	Be careful! I can sense the feel of evil rising from within... an abyssal power...
Bruenor:	Oi, that's another o' them fiendish remorhazes! And it don't look any friendlier than its kin we laid low outside!
Nayeli:	If we took down one, we can take out another. Everyone, hit it hard!
10	Defeat the Abyssal Remorhaz		Another abyssal remorhaz haunts the interior of the fortress! Take this fiendish creature down!
11	Defeat 25 Monsters		Pushing farther into the fortress ruins brings the last of the bone whelks with you. Finish these monstrous mollusks off!
Reya:	Has anyone found anything so far? This is taking too much time.
Jarlaxle:	Rubble. Garbage. Empty side chambers. Side chambers filled with rubble and garbage. This is fun.
Deekin:	Doooooom...
Jarlaxle:	It's a good thing we don't have any magic-users with us, or we wouldn't get to search the entirety of a ruined fortress by hand.
Delina:	Hey, we're all working on it, drow! There's just a lot of space to cover, and a lot of lead lining the walls... wait, there! I'm getting a magical sense of adamantine in that chamber ahead. Come on!
Bruenor:	Oi! I'm gettin' a visual sense o' quasits in that chamber ahead! Watch yerselves!
12	Defeat 25 Monsters		You're not the only ones infiltrating the fallen fortress. This pack of demonic quasits look none too please to have had their raid interrupted!
13	Collect 25 Bandages		This cache of healing supplies left behind by scavengers is too valuable to abandon -- but these dretches are going to destroy the lot if you don't grab them up quickly!
Nayeli:	These dretches aren't letting up. Delina, where are we looking?
Delina:	There! That safe on the far side of the room. Adamantine rods inside. Locate object spell for the win!
Nayeli:	Everyone focus on clearing these demons out! We need to get that safe open, and quickly!
14	Defeat 25 Monsters		As fast as you try to drive them back, more dretches step up to redouble their assault!
Bruenor:	Oi, elf! Less slackin' and more safe-crackin'! We're gettin' pounded here!
Jarlaxle:	Apologies, Bruenor. Deekin and I are usually much faster when we're under relentless attack.
Deekin:	Doooom!
Jarlaxle:	Less doom, please. More holding the light so I can see. Very good. Almost there.
Minsc:	Minsc sees something else also almost here! Barlgura demon approaches!
15	Defeat the Barlgura		The first three rods are at hand -- but the barlgura that leads these demon raiders regroups their forces for a final stand!
Jarlaxle:	Finally! The lock's open. And here are our... wait. There are only three rods here.
Delina:	Whoa! That's some powerful abjuration magic coming off those things. And what's that written on them? It's Infernal... 'Solar Insidiator Lock.'
Celeste:	I'm not sure what that means, but it bears investigation. But where are the other rods, I wonder?
Nayeli:	It looks like whoever hid them was too cagey to do so all in one place. We'll need to keep searching.
Bruenor:	Feh. This fortress is crawlin' with devils and demons alike -- and they ain't likely ta just let us work in peace.
Nayeli:	That'll be to their peril, then. Let's go.
Gargauth:	Well done, paladin. A small success. But you will fail in your greater goal without my knowledge.
Nayeli:	You made your point last time, fiend. My response is the same for now. First we find the rods. Then we'll discuss what you may or may not know. And until then, keep your silence.
Delina:	Straight ahead. Pretty sure we're on the right course.
Bruenor:	Wish there was more straight ta straight ahead in this place. Every dead-end we hit takes us forever ta backtrack. Ye're sure we're close, lass?
Delina:	I can feel the divination getting stronger. We're almost there.
16	Defeat 25 Monsters		As you push on, another bone whelk patrol comes out to meet you!
17	Defeat 25 Monsters		The droning of hellwasps heralds a new threat! Look sharp!
Delina:	This is it! More adamantine rods, somewhere in this records room.
Celeste:	... Records aren't the only things stored here. Those are hellwasp larvae! Any search of this place needs to be carefully made. If we don't disturb them...
Jarlaxle:	I'm going to call too late on the 'do not disturb' angle! They're moving!
Celeste:	Hold them back while we search! Clear these old journals out of the way! Quickly now!
18	Collect 25 Scattered Journals		You need to clear away these ancient books if you mean to find where the rods are hidden -- but these hellwasp larvae are out for blood!
19	Defeat 25 Monsters		As the larvae redouble their attacks, the hellwasps circle in to protect them!
20	Defeat the Bone Devil		A bone devil drawn to the din of the hellwasp assault drives a force of bone whelks before it! Hit this fiend hard!
Bruenor:	There! 'Tis another safe like tha last one we found. Seems an easy bet there's more rods locked up there.
Jarlaxle:	Same locking mechanism, but it's damaged. Someone needs to smash it open.
Arkhan:	Done. Three more rods. Three to go. Delina?
Delina:	On it. Getting something... there. More adamantine -- straight up.
Bruenor:	Let's get ta movin', then. Seems like tha longer we stay in this place, tha more trouble we're attractin'. Come on!
Bruenor:	Oi, that were a mighty steep climb, but refreshin' in its lack o' fightin'. How high up are we?
Minsc:	By feel of things, we must be close to top of fortress ruin. And there! Is large chamber ahead.
Celeste:	Judging by the control systems along the walls here, I'm guessing this was where the fortress was controlled from while it was in flight. I expect this area was thoroughly stripped long ago. Which would make it an excellent hiding place for something valuable.
Jarlaxle:	I don't know. It looks like there might be a few choice pieces of salvage remaining -- at least judging by the number of vrocks currently ripping the place apart!
21	Defeat 25 Monsters		You reach the bridge of the fallen fortress in record time -- but the vrocks pouring in from outside aren't going to make your search for the rods an easy one!
Nayeli:	More vrocks are clambering in through those holes in the walls! Drive them back out, and it might scatter the ones still outside!
Bruenor:	Gotta look ta tha door at tha same time! There's more o' them bone whelks comin' in from tha corridor! Watch yerselves!
22	Defeat 25 Monsters		The vrocks regroup, even as bone whelks slither forth to join the fight! Don't let them surround you!
Minsc:	Vrocks have fled through to outside. Bone whelks are fallen back to corridor. All search quickly, now. Last three rods must be here!
Celeste:	It's hard to see anything under all the refuse the scavengers have left behind. We need to clear all this away.
Minsc:	Say, now. Holes in walls where vrocks fled. Were grappling hooks always there, or is Minsc seeing new things?
Bandit:	Well, well! Looks like we've got some competition for whatever spoils are left in this place. Nock arrows! Fire at will!
Minsc:	Never mind. Minsc has had question answered.
23	Collect 25 Coils of Rope		Bandits making use of the outside entrance send a barrage against you! Grab their ropes to keep more of them from ascending the exterior of the fortress!
24	Defeat 25 Monsters		The bandits swap bows for blades as they close to melee!
Nayeli:	Listen to me! Our quarrels right now are with far more important foes than you. We're here for one thing. Stand down and let us find it, and you can have whatever's left.
Bandit:	Ha! You think me that much a fool? Any treasure that needs a group like you to search for it will be worth keeping. So here's a counteroffer -- drop your wealth and clear out, and we'll let you flee in peace.
Bruenor:	Seems like no matter how much Zariel's known o' what tha Champions' have been up ta roamin' around Avernus so far, lots o' folks on tha ground still ain't heard o' us. So best we introduce ourselves ta this group tha old-fashioned way!
25	Defeat the Barbed Devil		The bandits reform lines for a full assault -- and a barbed devil looks to take advantage of the chaos as it joins the fray!
Minsc:	Bandits are scattered. Devil is down.
Jarlaxle:	Just time to loot the room, then. Here. The last three rods, hidden the same way as the others. I like treasure that gets progressively easier to collect.
Nayeli:	Nice work, everyone. Now comes the fun of fighting our way back down to the war machine.
Minsc:	Or perhaps is better way. Bandit ropes we claimed will reach ground. We descend same way they came up, we make quick escape.
Celeste:	That sounds like an excellent plan, Minsc. Let's get these grappling hooks secured.
Celeste:	Nicely done, everyone. Are we all accounted for?
Jarlaxle:	All except for Spurt. He keeps climbing back up so he can slide down again.
Spurt:	THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!
Nayeli:	Spurt! Get down here. We need to go. Everyone onto the war machine!
Balakros:	Took you all long enough. And very thoughtful to bring those vrocks with you! I can't imagine how less entertaining this trip would be without them.
Bruenor:	Ye just get this war machine movin' and focus on tha road, imp. Leave them demon vultures ta us!
26	Defeat 25 Monsters		Descending the outside of the wrecked flying fortress has allowed you to avoid the creatures within. But packs of vrocks circling the exterior are more than ready to fight!
27	Defeat 25 Monsters		As the vrocks punish you from the air, flocks of abyssal chickens rampage toward you!
28	Collect 25 Roast Racks		Fire damage from the fight is roasting these abyssal chickens where they fall. Lunch break!
Balakros:	Bel's forge is coming up fast! All your fiendish bargaining and plot development needs in one convenient location.
Nayeli:	Is it my imagination, imp, or are you actually growing slightly more pleasant?
Balakros:	Absolutely your imagination. But while you're at it, you might try imagining a battle strategy. The forge's guardians are out in force along the road -- and they look like they're ready for another rematch!
29	Defeat 25 Monsters		A force of spined devils marching out from Bel's forge lays into you -- and these accursed abyssal chickens are getting in the way of your counterattack!
Jarlaxle:	There's a pattern to these devils' attacks. They're not just out for blood -- they're focusing in on Nayeli. I think they're after the adamantine rods.
Celeste:	Bel trying to undo his bargain with us by claiming them before we return, perhaps.
Nayeli:	Let him try. I haven't yet destroyed nearly enough devils today.
30	Defeat the Ice Devil		Bearded devils led by an ice devil seek to seize the adamantine rods for their master! Show Bel's servants that you have no intention of reworking your bargain!
Smiler:	Well, this is something. I tell you, Champions, I thought I'd seen some sights on Avernus. But you're showing me a thing or two.
Jarlaxle:	What, no welcoming committee to meet us? Bel's hospitality has gone way downhill.
Nayeli:	I get the feeling that was the welcoming committee we met en route. There might be none of them left. Though I'm sure this archdevil has other tricks ready for us.
Delina:	Careful! There's shadow magic surging all around.
Bruenor:	Feh. More o' them illusory guardians again. I wonder what that devil'll be throwin' at us this time?
31	Defeat 25 Monsters		As you prepare to enter the forge once more, Bel's shadow magic summons forth more guardians of Chult to challenge you!
Gargauth:	Time grows short, paladin. They key to freeing Elturel is in your grasp -- but only I can tell you how that key turns. You will fail without me. You will weep as your city plunges into the River Styx. And before your soul is consumed by Zariel, you will understand how much your pride has cost you.
Nayeli:	You grow ever more tiresome, fiend. But I think it's time to humor you. Tell me what you know, and I'll weigh its value -- and how much I think I can trust you.
Bruenor:	Oi, Nayeli, ye all right? Ye're lookin' a mite distracted there.
Nayeli:	Just listening to the voice of the Shield of the Hidden Lord, Bruenor. And assessing what it has to say...
32	Defeat 25 Monsters		Within the forge, more creatures wrought of illusion step forth to challenge you!
33	Collect 25 Crab Shell Fragments		Bel's refusal to shut down his defenses for your return speaks to the capriciousness of the former lord of Avernus. Drive these abyssal crabs back!
Bel:	Look there! The Champions, returned triumphant! Come now. Approach and kneel, as befits all servants of Bel.
Bruenor:	Gonna take a hard pass on tha kneelin', devil. Let's just keep this all business, shall we? Ye give us yer info on how ta save Elturel, like ye promised. Then we'll give ye yer adamantine baubles and be done with ye.
Bel:	Continued insolence! Time after time, I give you the chance to learn your place, and you defy me! Shall I offer you one last lesson?
Nayeli:	Bruenor, hold your temper. Remember why we're here.
Bruenor:	Aye, I remember we're here ta save Elturel, and this lyin' fiend is playin' games still! Bring yer worst, Bel! Tha Champions'll defy ye ta tha end!
34	Defeat 25 Monsters		On their defiant master's orders, spined devils prepare a deadly welcome to Bel's throne room! Hit them hard!
35	Defeat the Hezrou		Bel's spined devil guards unleash a hezrou demon bound to their master's service! Take down all these creatures so you can seal your deal with this deposed archfiend!
Bruenor:	Ye had 'nuff, devil? 'Cause I can tell ye, tha Champions is just gettin' started!
Bel:	Defiant fool. I will destroy you all!
Nayeli:	No, Bel! We had a bargain, of which our end has been fulfilled. Here, your adamantine rods. Take them for whatever foul purpose you mean to use them. Then give us what you promised. Please. How do we save Elturel?
Bel:	I like you, paladin. Remind me of that when next we meet, and I might let you serve me yet. Fine. I give you what you seek. To save your city, claim the Sword of Zariel. Break the chains that bind Elturel above the Styx. Then darken the Companion whose corrupted power drew the city here. All easy tasks for mortals as arrogant as you.
Bruenor:	Ye deceitful... those is all impossible tasks! I seen them chains close up, and there ain't no one strong 'nuff ta break 'em!
Bel:	Neither you or I, certainly -- so seek the power of someone stronger, perhaps. Why not ask Tiamat? I know the dragon queen loves to do favors for rabble! Ha! As to opening the companion, you'll just need the correct keys. I wonder if you'll trip across them someday?
Nayeli:	You'll pay for this deceit, Bel. Stand fast!
Bel:	Oh, I think not. I'm afraid your presence bores me now. But remembering your failure will be sweet. Begone, Champions! And good luck!
Balakros:	What? You're all teleported back again? I was so certain Bel would claim your souls to the last, I was thinking of taking your war machine for my own. It needs work, certainly, but it has a kind of charm.
Nayeli:	You might be in luck, Balakros. We could use a driver to set a fast course for the Bleeding Citadel. We've got an appointment to retrieve the Sword of Zariel, and I'm afraid your master is having a very bad day -- though he doesn't know it quite yet.
Balakros:	What do you have there...? No! You still hold the adamantine rods! How did you flee Bel's clutches without giving them over?
Delina:	We didn't. Not exactly. He's got a nice collection of duplicates, shaped from his own shadow magic. Tapping into illusions cast by Bel makes illusions that not even Bel can see through. Not for a while at least.
Reya:	Indeed, that was quite the performance from everyone. But it did the trick. Bel has revealed what he knew.
Balakros:	Oh, this will end badly. Bel's rage will strike like a storm!
Reya:	Indeed. In fact, we're counting on it -- but we need to get to Elturel first. Balakros, you didn't sound before as though serving Bel was your life's ambition. And once he realizes the rods are fake... well, he might think you had something to do with it. Perhaps it's time to rethink your career choices.
Balakros:	... Everybody on board! This war machine is hitting the road! Next stop, the Bleeding Citadel!
36	Defeat 25 Monsters		Victorious over Bel for now, you set your course for the Bleeding Citadel -- and not even these abyssal chickens can slow you down!
Celeste:	We're making good time. Keeping Balakros at the wheel will be a sound investment, I think.
Jarlaxle:	Long-term, maybe. Short-term, though, he's bringing us more quickly into range of trouble. More war machines to starboard! And they're on an intercept course!
Bruenor:	Oi! Tha warlord marks on them machines is lookin' awfully familiar...
Raggadragga:	Champions! We meet again! Goreguts Gang, take this war machine down!
37	Defeat 25 Monsters		A force of wereboars trying to clamber aboard the war machine heralds the arrival of an old foe. It's Raggadragga!
Nayeli:	Wereboar! Your predecessors lost every fight they tried to start with us. You think you can take up the title of the new Raggadragga and do any better?
Raggadragga:	Ah, but I haven't taken up the title again. I am the Raggadragga you faced before, returned even stronger to the fight!
Jarlaxle:	Wait... I thought the shtick was a new Raggadragga every time. Wasn't that kind of your thing?
Raggadragga:	My shtick is unpredictability, fool! When you expect the same Raggadragga, you face a new Raggadragga. When you expect a new Raggadragga, you face the old Raggadragga! How can you possibly respond in the face of such cleverness?
Bruenor:	Guess we'll have ta just make do with a time-honored shtick o' our own. Champions! Take these brigands down!
38	Collect 25 Soul Coins		The wereboars are weighed down with useful soul coins. Grab them up as you toss these malcontents back to the ground!
39	Defeat 25 Monsters		You form up lines against the wereboars again. But the sudden appearance of an abyssal chicken swarm throws the fight into confusion!
Raggadragga:	Curse you, Champions! Once more you manage by sheer luck to overcome my tactical superiority.
Celeste:	I'll think you'll find that when a repeated event has the same outcome multiple times, sheer luck tends to fall out of the equation.
Raggadragga:	You taunt me with math! You'll pay for that! You'll all pay!
40	Defeat the Raggadragga		In the midst of the chaos, Raggadragga makes a stand! Send this braggadocious wereboar on his way! Again!
Bruenor:	Right, that's done, fer now at least. Anyone wanna lay odds on when that blighter'll show up again?
Nayeli:	Let's just assume it'll be at the worst possible time, one way or another. Balakros, are we still on course?
Balakros:	On course and all fueled up. The Bleeding Citadel will be in sight any moment now. And I hope you all know what you're doing by going there.
Lulu:	You and me both, imp. You and me both...
41	Defeat 25 Monsters		Leaving the Goreguts Gang behind makes for easier travel -- but these abyssal chickens won't give up the chase!
Celeste:	Is there any sign of pursuit from Bel's forge?
Jarlaxle:	Nothing to be seen on the horizon behind us. But the way the horizon seems to work around here, Bel's forces are just as likely to be in front of us already.
Minsc:	Minsc has good news on that account! Is completely different forces appearing in front of us.
Balakros:	Bandits moving in with ropes and climbing stakes! Prepare to repel boarders!
42	Defeat 25 Monsters		The bandits you routed in the wrecked flying fortress are back for a second shot at you! Time to teach these opportunistic brigands another lesson!
43	Collect 25 Iron Stakes		Disarming the bandits of their steel climbing stakes will slow down their ability to get onto the war machine -- but their archers are trying to pin you down!
Lulu:	There! I see it! The Bleeding Citadel is close! Follow me, Balakros!
Balakros:	Following anything would be a lot easier if I had fewer bandits blocking my view.
Bruenor:	We're tryin' ta clear 'em, but these brigands ain't got 'nuff self-preservation ta back down. If we can figure out who's givin' commands here, we might be able ta force their hand.
Bandit:	Oh, that'd be me. And my command was 'take these outworlders for everything they've got!'
Delina:	It's the same crew from the wrecked flying fortress!
Bandit:	Indeed. And we'll lay claim to whatever riches you pulled from the wreck -- along with whatever else you're carrying. Or you'll all pay the price!
44	Defeat 25 Monsters		With the Bleeding Citadel in sight, the bandits try to seize control of the war machine! Hit them hard!
Balakros:	We're here. But the bandits have the war machine surrounded.
Nayeli:	All the better to trade in this hit-and-run fighting for a solid assault. Everyone with me! We punch through this mob and shatter their ranks. That'll send them on their way.
Minsc:	Is more threat than just bandits ready for us! Demonic tanarukk has come, and has murder in eyes! And mouth and claws! All murder top to bottom, really!
Boo:	Squeak!
45	Defeat the Tanarukk		Outside the Bleeding Citadel, the bandits regroup for a final assault -- even as a tanarukk roaming the wastes sets up a second front!
Celeste:	Lulu, are you all right?
Lulu:	Yes. Yes. We found it. I remember... Zariel drove her sword into the ground, and those walls of alabaster rose up around it.
Jarlaxle:	I can't say much for the landscaping that's been undertaken since. That hill the citadel sits on looks like a monstrous scab... rising from a swamp of blood...
Bruenor:	All right, it's a bit o' a fixer-upper fer sure. But we ain't come here ta put an offer in on tha place.
Nayeli:	Let's settle for assuming the landscape is probably as toxic as everything else in this realm. But Bruenor's right. We're here to get inside and find the sword.
Jarlaxle:	Excellent. Let's just pass that information on to this mob of fiends rushing us, and we'll be good to go.
46	Defeat 25 Monsters		A force of spined devils guards the Bleeding Citadel against your approach! Hit them hard!
Nayeli:	These devils fight with a singular ferocity.
