Dragonbait once again accompanies your formation, taking up the front slot. He does not attack, but provides a buff to the party while alive.
Each time you encounter Valindra Shadowmantle she grows in power, resurrecting once per boss fight for every 50 areas into the adventure you are. Each time she resurrects she deal much more damage and has more health.
Each time Valindra ressurects, Dragonbait's resolve grows stronger, increasing his health, damage reduction, and the buff he provides.

1 Defeat 25 Monsters The race to Mezro is on! And like every other race in Chult, it comes with a whole lot of bystanders attacking you!
2 Defeat 25 Monsters Pushing through dense foliage lets you leave the velociraptors behind. But these flying monkeys are more tenacious by far.
3 Collect 25 Vine Samples Sticking to the path leaves you open to attack. Tearing down the close-growing vines will help open up this fight.
4 Defeat 25 Monsters Yellow musk zombies! You've stumbled into the territory of the undead!
