K'thriss Drow'b is one of the Champions of Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. He was obtained from the Midwinter event and again during the 7th year of Festival of Fools event, or through Time Gates or from purchasing a K'thriss Champion Pack from the in-game shop.

K'thriss buffs those farthest from him and 'borrows' some of the formation's gold to attract a friendly Shadow Demon.

Once unlocked, you can swap this Event Champion with Bruenor in slot 1.

Backstory

“

Curious, affable, and morbid, the drow heretic K'thriss Drow'b seeks the insane god-truth behind the veil of reality. As the 'C' Team's hoardsperson, he keeps an eye out for occult relics that could aid him in his unearthly quest.

Abilities

Dissonant Whispers – Base Attack

K'thriss telepathically whispers a discordant melody that damages and slows a random enemy.

Hoardsperson – Level 25 Ability

Reduces gold find by 10%, but increases the damage of all Champions by 100%. Collect bonus coins to summon a demon that massively buffs the damage of your lowest damage Champion for 30 seconds. (A Shadow Demon spawns behind the champion with the lowest damage, giving them the same damage as the highest damage champion in the formation.)

Tentacular Spectacular – Level 50 Ultimate Attack

K'thriss summons a horde of tentacles across the battlefield that damage and slow all enemies.

Unseen Encouragement – Level 75 Ability

Increase the damage of the champions furthest from K'thriss by 200%

Specialization Choice – Level 150

Efficient Bookkeeping

K'thriss cooks the books and summons Hoardsperson Shadow Demons more often. Reduce number of coins required to summon the Hoardsperson Shadow Demon by 25.

Velvet Touch

K'thriss contracts his unseen servant Velvet to help him expand his Unseen Encouragement. Unseen Encouragement now targets all non adjacent champions.

K'thriss is a character created by Kris Straub for the main-stage Aquisitions Inc games at PAX. Eventually he broke off from the main crew and joined his forever family: The "C" Team. You might also know Kris from his work in web comics, such as chainsawsuit, Starslip, and Broodhollow.
