Gems are one of the Game Mechanics in Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, and one of the currencies in the game (other include Divine Favor, Coins, and Patron currencies.)

Description[]

Gems are small green stones of value, obtained in varying amounts from defeating bosses. Each boss can drop between 4 and 24 (exact values may be incorrect) gems, on the first time the party defeats it. On average each boss drops 7.051 Gems (without upgrade, based on 1000 Boss fights). Using Torm's Favor, an upgrade can be purchased that makes all bosses drop 1 additional gem, applicable to all campaigns. The upgrade is Tier 2, requiring 15 upgrades to already be purchased, and costs 50.0M / 5.00e07 favor.

Gems are used for purchasing Chests, at a cost of 50 gems per silver chest, or 500 gems per golden chest, familiars, namely: Mage Hand, Jeremy the Baby Tiger, Gelatinous Cube, Pixie, Almiraj, Armored Juniper, Boo, Raven, Quasit, Zorbo and Pixie Riding a Corgi, Feats and Skins for champions, or the second Modron core.

Notes[]

Emergence Events introduced Corrupted Gems Corrupted Gems which are mainly obtained during these specific events, but may also be obtained via other mechanics (which are described in the Emergence Event page).

Trivia[]

  • The design of gems is vaguely reminiscent of Rupees, the main form of currency from the Legend of Zelda series.
