Critial Hits are a game mechanic.
All Champions and monsters have a chance to critically hit with their attacks, dealing 100% additional damage on a crit. The base chance for a Critical Hit is 2.5%.
Global Critical Hit Damage boost via Blessing[]
Light of Xaryxis Tier 4 blessing:
- Great Shot, Kid!: Increase Critical Hit Damage by 400%. Applies to all campaigns.
Champion Upgrades[]
Now We're Talking: Whenever Bobby lands a Critical Hit, the effect of Charge Into Battle is increased by 100%, stacking multiplicatively up to 10 times and resetting when changing areas.
Mark for Death: Enemies hit by Catti-brie's arrows are Marked and take additional damage equal to Catti-brie's critical hit damage bonus until the enemy is defeated.
Grievous Wounds: When an enemy that is Marked is critically hit by any Champion, they are stunned for 5 seconds and the damage bonus of their Mark is increased by 100%. This effect can only occur every 10 seconds, and the damage bonus increase can stack multiplicatively up to 10 times.
Push Forward: Cattie-brie increases the damage of herself and all Champions in front of her in the formation by 50% each time she gets a critical hit, stacking multiplicatively up to 25 times and resetting when she changes areas.
Empty the Quiver (Ultimate Attack): Catti-brie shoots six arrows at once from her bow. Each enemy hit by her arrows have a higher chance of being crit, and take more crit damage based on Catti-brie's crit chance and damage for 30 seconds.
Piercing Arrow (Specialization Choice): Cattie-brie's damage is increased by 400% and her arrows hit all enemies on their way to their target. Each enemy hit has a separate chance of being a critical hit.
Critical Family (Specialization Choice): Additively increases the critical hit chance of all Companions of the Hall Champions by 20%.
Critical Teamwork: Whenever a Champion with a melee base attack gets a critical hit, increase the effect of Marshal of the Flaming Fist by 100% and additively increase the odds of all Champions in the formation getting critical hits by 1%. Both effects stack additively up to 50 times and reset when changing areas.
Strength of Baldur's Gate (Specialization Choice): Champions with a melee base attack have their crit chance additively increased by 20% and crit damage increased by 1000%.
Hank:
Tactical Advantage: Whenever an enemy is knocked back, Hank gains a Tactics stack. For each Tactics stack, the Critical Hit Chance of all Champions in the formation is increased by 1%, and the Critical Hit Damage of all Champions in the formation is increased by 10%. Tactics stacks stack additively up to 50 times and reset when changing areas.
Champion (Specialization Choice): Increases Lae'zel's Critical Hit chance by 20% (additively) and Critical Hit damage by 100% (multiplicatively).
Bleed: When Pwent attacks he causes all enemies he damages to Bleed, taking 0.5 seconds worth of BUD damage every second for the next 20 seconds. While an enemy is bleeding, attacks that target them have a 20% higher chance to critical hit (additively). If Pwent attacks an enemy that is already bleeding the duration is reset.
Gutbuster Recruits: When a Champion adjacent to Pwent scores a critical hit, Pwent increases the effect of Can You SMELL That? by 50%. This can multiplicatively stack up to 50 times, with the stacks being reset on area change.
Recruiting Drive (Specialization Choice): Gutbuster Recruits now triggers when non-adjacent Champions score critical hits, instead of adjacent Champions.
Critical Wounds (Specialization Choice): Attacks targeting enemies that Pwent has caused to Bleed have a 40% additive chance to be a critical hit, up from 20%.
Ruby Healing: When Regis scores a Critical Hit, his Ruby Pendant pulses and heals all Champions in the formation for 10 for each Mithral Hall stack the formation has.
Ruby Amplification: Increases the effect of Ruby Encouragement by 500% when Regis scores a Critical Hit. This effect can stack up to 15 times (multiplicatively). Stacks reset when changing areas.
Ruby Invigoration: Whenever a Champion in the formation is critically hit by an enemy, Regis stores up one charge of Ruby Invigoration. While he has at least one charge, his chance to Critical Hit is increased by 250%, and whenever he scores a Critical Hit a charge is consumed. He can store up to 5 charges.
Deflect Missiles: Rosie gains a deflect stack every time she attacks. She can store up to 100 deflect stacks at once. Whenever an enemy attacks the formation with a ranged/magic attack, Rosie consumes a deflect stack and reflects it back at the attacker. The reflected attack deals Rosie's damage with a 100% additively increased chance of dealing a critical hit. This effect can trigger as often as necessary, as long as Rosie has deflect stacks available.
Shadow Arts: Rosie's critical hit damage is increased by 100% for every 100 levels she has been leveled up, stacking multiplicatively. Additionally, for every 4th attack, Rosie makes a Shadow Arts attack that deals 10 seconds worth of BUD damage to all enemies in a small area.
Slower Decay (Specialization Choice): Increases Rosie's critical hit damage by 600% and the effect of Slow Decay is set to 75%.
Cloak of Invisibility: Every time Sheila attacks, the enemies become less coordinated, opening them up to more critical hits. For each attack, increase the Critical Hit Chance of all Champions by 2% and increase their Critical Hit Damage by 10%, stacking additively up to 10 times and resetting every time you change areas.
Frightening Strike (Specialization Choice): Sheila’s base and ultimate attacks frighten her targets. Frightened enemies take 100% more damage from critical hits, stacking multiplicatively up to 8 times per enemy.
Blue Fire (Specialization Choice): Skylla's Faerie Fire turns blue. Champions attacking enemies affected by Faerie Fire have a 40% additional chance to deal a critical hit.
Righteous Might: Whenever Strongheart lands a critical hit, for the next 20 seconds he increases the damage of Justice Needs Champions by 400%, increases the healing amount of Courage to Stand by 100%, and reduces the base attack speed cooldown of himself and Champions affected by Justice Needs Champions by 0.5 seconds.
Target Acquisition (Ultimate Attack): Vin Ursa blasts an enemy. She has a +20% chance to score a critical hit and the enemy becomes a favored foe if she crits.
Critical Hit + Citizen of Icewind Dale: Wulfgar's base chance to Critical Hit is 20%, and his Critical Hits also stun all affected enemies for 5 seconds.
- Additionally, Wulfgar can be used in any Icewind Dale campaign adventure or variant, even if he would not normally be available to be used due to variant or patron restrictions.
Heavy Blows (Specialization Choice): Additively increases all Champions' critical hit chances by 10%.
